What is CICO?
CICO stands for Check In, Check Out – a fitness tracking app that helps you stay motivated by logging workouts, tracking progress, and competing with friends in group leaderboards.
Is CICO free to use?
Yes! CICO has a free version that allows you to check in, track workouts, and join one group. For additional features, you can upgrade to CICO Premium.
What makes CICO different from other fitness tracking apps?
CICO focuses on social motivation by allowing you to:
- Log workouts using a Check In / Check Out system
- Share post-workout photos with friends
- Compete in group leaderboards
- Track progress through seasonal competitions
Using the App
How do I start tracking my workout?
- Open the CICO app and tap Check In when you start your workout.
- After finishing, tap Check Out to log your session and share your results.
Can I use CICO without an internet connection?
Yes! You can Check In and Check Out offline. Your session will sync once you're back online.
How do leaderboards work?
Leaderboards track total workout time & points for each user in a group. The leaderboards reset every season (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) to give new users a chance to compete.

What features do I get with CICO Premium?
With CICO Premium (£3.99/month), you unlock:
- Unlimited groups (join multiple communities)

Can I cancel my CICO Premium subscription?
Yes! You can cancel anytime through your App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) settings. Your premium features will remain active until the end of your billing cycle.
Privacy & Security
Is my data safe with CICO?
Absolutely. We prioritize user privacy and do not share your personal data. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
Where are my photos stored?
All uploaded photos are securely stored in AWS S3 and are only visible to the group you shared them with.
Troubleshooting
I forgot to check out – can I fix this?
If you're a Premium user, you can use Late Check-Ins to manually log your session. Free users cannot edit past check-ins.
Why am I not receiving the verification email?
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Ensure you entered the correct email address
- If you still don't see it, contact support@cicotracker.com
